Our Farm

Similk Bay Farm is a U-Cut Christmas Tree Farm on Fidalgo Island, WA. Each tree is hand pruned to offer a natural Christmas tree for your home. The last several years have been regrowing years for us and our current supply is severely limited. It takes 8-12 years to provide a sellable Christmas tree under all the correct conditions. Our trees have experienced droughts, flooding, insects, and disease. While we have been working to clear the large trees, creating space and light for seedlings to grow, we are continuing to work towards having a more thriving and full crop of beautiful Christmas trees for many years to come.

We currently have Douglas Fir, Grand Fir and few other unique trees available. In years to come we have Nordman Fir, Grand Fir & Douglas Fir trees coming. We have also planted Noble Fir and Balsam Fir over the years, but they have not done as well in our soil.

We are a u-cut Christmas tree farm. We have saws available, but you are welcome to bring your own hand or electric saw. In 2024, we charge $50 for any tree 4′ and up (our smaller trees are saved for future years). We currently accept cash or checks made out to Similk Bay Farm.

On leash dogs welcome, but please clean up after your pet.

Wear your boots and watch your step. Things get muddy out here on the farm and not all the ground is level. You’ll find complimentary hot cocoa and snickerdoodles to enjoy while you search for your “perfect” tree.
